Looking for two awesome Digital Marketing Interns!

So Jon Crowley and I are neck deep in a variety of amazing new projects here at OSL Marketing. We are seriously getting things done with some major clients (Pepsi, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Conagra, Scotiabank just to name a few) and are looking to grow our team!

We feel that working with people is the best way to learn what they’re about, and in the hunt for Coordinators, we’re going to hire interns! We’re looking for two super-connected, highly organized, incredibly intelligent but most of all - FUN - Digital Marketing Interns to join our team. This is an unpaid position, however we are all about growth and learning, and would like to use this position as a springboard for full-time paid position as Coordinator. Plus, the successful candidates will learn about digital marketing, advertising etc.

Digital Marketing Intern

Founded 20 years ago, OSL is one of the most successful privately-held agencies in Canada. With offices in Montreal and Mississauga, OSL client portfolio includes many of Canada’s most recognizable brands. For its Digital Marketing team, OSL is currently looking for an Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing team in the day-to-day administration and implementation of specific client(s) projects and initiatives as directed by the Digital Facilitator. He / She must ensure that all programs/initiatives are tracked, completed and delivered in a timely and professional manner, consistent with OSL vision.

Daily Responsibilities include:

  • Working with Digital Facilitator/VP Digital & Innovation
  • Researching stats/information support client pitches, presentations, education
  • Support all aspects of programs and initiatives including: Support in development of oral and written client presentations;  Managing client/project timelines; Working with Digital Facilitator to update project status reports
  • Community Management: Create, Update, and Maintain content on social networking sites such as Facebook/Twitter in alignment with clients overall conversation strategy
  • Administration: Attend/Organize meetings, take notes and managing calendars; Manage post-meeting follow ups; Preparing, printing, binding reports;  Document (presentations, templates, collateral) updates
  • Reporting
  • QA/Testing of digital programs

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate or current student in marketing, advertising, communications program in college or University
  • Keen interest in digital marketing, new media and technology – social media, mobile marketing, online, etc.
  • Active user of social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn – the successful applicant will have at least 300 Facebook friends and at least 200 followers on Twitter.
  • Above average PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills
  • Extremely bright and eager to learn in a fast-paced, FUN environment
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic and friendly personality
  • Strong references
  • Must have a laptop computer

Duration:
3 months (pending school requirements)

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship, however successful interns are strong candidates for promotion to full-time employees.
